What is Decompression Therapy?

Decompression therapy is a method of relieving back pain by repairing damaged spinal discs and reversing nerve damage.  Under computer control, the therapy device slowly and very gently pull apart your spinal discs, reducing the compression between discs.  This decompression of the discs lets oxygen and blood flow into affected areas to speed up healing and relieve pain.

Are the treatment results permanent?

Spinal decompression in one research study was shown to have a very high success rate in treating herniated and degenerative discs, and an exceptionally low reoccurrence rate.  Additional treatments are not required after the completion of a series of treatments.
